Concert Preview: The Y Axes, New Year Sun Bear, MÆRE, and SNIPERS! @ Bottom of the Hill, SF 3/14

Four local bands from all walks of rock will tune your mind to the key of happy at Bottom of the Hill Wednesday night, March 14th.

Dubbed the “first annual South By San Francisco,” this Bay Area Rock Showcase is your best bet on a Wednesday night you won’t soon forget. Listen for bouncing melodic instrumentals from Santa Rosa’s beloved post-rock quartet, Snipers! Napa’s Mære will blow your soul with their epic art-rock. San Francisco’s own New Year Sun Bear will give you something to dance to with their Daft Punk/Royksoppesque electropop. And locally grown space rockers, The Y Axes, will keep your feet moving and your head bobbing. If you are only going to one show this week and don’t want to pay an arm and a leg, support local live music and make your way to Bottom of the Hill, Wed, March 14.
